Mushroom Beef Stew
Ingredients
- 11⁄2 to 2lbs Beef stew meat cut
- 2 T All-purpose flour
- 1/2 Tsp Salt
- 1-2 Tsp Pepper
- 1 1/2 C Beef broth
- 1 Tsp Worcestershire sauce into 1-inch cubes low sodium
- 1 Clove Garlic minced
- 1 Bay leaf
- 1 Tsp Paprika
- 4 Shiitake mushrooms
- 2 Medium Carrots sliced
- 3 Medium Red potatoes diced
- 1 Small Onion chopped
- 1 Stalk celery chopped sliced

Instructions
- Place beef in slow-cooker. Mix together flour, salt and pepper; sprinkle over beef. Stir to coat each piece of beef with flour.
- Add remaining ingredients and stir to mix well. Cover; cook on low 10 – 12 hours or on high 4 – 6 hours. Stir before serving.
- *If shiitake mushrooms are unavailable you may substitute other mushrooms of your choice.
