Green Bay Has Plenty to Celebrate — Including School Lunches

February 7th, 2011 | Posted in: Parents, School Nutrition

Victory comes in all forms — and after yesterday’s big game, Green Bay and the whole state of Wisconsin are celebrating. Turns out Green Bay has another reason to celebrate — they’re doing a great job providing children with healthy meals in school. And they do it in 35 schools for over 20,000 children. The Green Bay Public School District provides produce bars with tasty items like jicama and fresh-baked sweet potato bread. They even provide homemade granola.

A big thank you to School Meals that Rock for their three-part series on the breakfasts and lunches the Green Bay Public School District provides for the children.
