Droughts Effect on Wisconsin Crops

Fourteen southern counties are now designated as suffering from a moderate drought. How is the Wisconsin drought affecting the summer 2012 crops? Experts feel that as of now, potatoes and sweet corn will be okay – and may even benefit from the heat. However, tomatoes and pepper crops are suffering in the current conditions.
