Wisconsin Potatoes Can Help Feed Starving Children
Children are particularly susceptible to malnutrition — and it can affect their health throughout their life. We’d like to help. And we’d like you to join us.
The WPVGA is lending support to Feed My Starving Children. We’re assisting a Wisconsin branch of Feed My Starving Children by volunteering our time for a Manna-Pack™ Potato-W event. At this event, volunteers will help package the Manna-Pack meals that will be used as a nutrient-rich formula to wean infants. The packing event will take place July 22 – 24, 2011.
MannaPacks used to consist of rice formulas, but now the new potato formula Manna Packs has been developed to help feed children in developing countries.
You can help by “liking” the Wisconsin-based Feed My Starving Children facebook page. Donating your time or helping us raise funds.
